Kemp’s Hamburgers was a fast-food joint at the corner of Forbes Ave. and Cambridge Street, where there’s now a Rockland Trust. How a fast-food burger joint beautified the town may never be known. Selectmen ordered highway crews to block Stoney Brook Road with sand dunes because the new Burlington Mall Road was boosting traffic down this road.
