Thanksgiving ice storm kills Burlington horse, paralyzes New England

Be thankful that today is Thanksgiving 2021, not 1921. One of the nation’s worst-ever ice storms punished New England 100 years ago. More than three inches of ice uprooted or ruined about 100,000 trees and immobilized New England for three days, causing at least $10M in damage ($132M today).
