Great memories. I spent my childhood in this store. Rode my bike here almost every day from a young age and was still a regular customer into my high school years even after Newbury Comics and Tower Records opened at the other end of town. Owner was a wonderful man. Perhaps a little skeptical about teenagers. Cassettes were kept always in a locked case and you had to ask to have it opened. There was also a totally unadvertised room in the basement filled with an astounding collection of 45 rpm records. I would spend hours down there. What a great store. Still remember the sadness I feel when in 1993 I made a small purchase there before heading back to college and the man said he was closing down the business. Streaming has nothing on those days.
