Note the brick building in between the two strip mall buildings. That was the Burlington Post Office, which operated out of that small building as a substation of Woburn until a proper Burlington PO was established on the common in 1970. After that two other structures, one in either side of the old P.O., were built, connecting all these buildings together. The old P.O. is now an ice cream parlor.
