    • Hi Paul – my late brother, Harold DuLong, was your friend and classmate! Nice to see a name/face from the past. I remember very fondly you and many others: Gene Dalton, “Smitty”, “Lumpy”, Eddie Cass, Jack Sargent… those were the days when Burlington was blooming& booming!

      • Thank you for your note. Of all you mentioned William and Ed are still in touch with me and in good humor!

  1. I’m 95% certain I waved at that drone as it flew over my house a few days ago. Look for video near Locust/Sparhawk, see a man waving from his pool, that’s me 🙂

  2. Very cool, nicely done! Think of all the good times sliding down the hill at Simonds Park or playing ball at Simonds park,Center school fields or on the common when there was a ball field. Skating at the RKO towers or Murray’s pond when it was there! ( How did that get passed to fill in? Wouldn’t that have been considered “wet lands”). Thanks for the memories, you never disappoint! 3. bring back a lot of Memories. I was playing there 70 yrs ago. Boy has Burlington grown. There wasn’t even a mall there then. thanks for the ride. loved it…

  4. Great vid Bob, I relived moments of my youth from skating at the radio towers to my first ride around town when I got my driver’s license. I didn’t see the guy in the pool though!!!

  5. we old guys often feel nostalgic for the old days when burlington was rural and peaceful, and wooded……….but there was no jobs,no industry………most of us were poor often commuting to work………..good old days, not in all ways
