That’s Route 128 at Route 3, near the Mall. The background shows the Winter bare trees of the Burlington Landlocked Forest. The High Tension wires are for the power grid lines that run up the hill through Landlocked Forest. Know it quite well.

that must be Feb. of 1969. I remember a couple of huge blizzards from then. I also remember having only 3 day’s of school that month between all the snow day’s and Feb. school vacation. our street was snowed in for 3 day’s because the towns plows couldn’t make it up our hill. finally a huge military plow got us free.
